Abstract

This article examines how new technologies are currently taking over and revolutionizing business management, driving significant improvements in organizational effectiveness. The research focuses on analyzing aspects of the literature published between 2019 and 2024, identifying contributions from twenty authors that explore the impact of technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT) on business management. The results indicate that process automation, facilitated by artificial intelligence, has allowed companies today to reduce operating costs and increase productivity within organizations. Likewise, big data and predictive analysis have improved strategic decision-making by providing more accurate and timely information. Blockchain and IoT have optimized the supply chain, improving transparency and traceability, leading to more efficient and secure operations. However, the successful adoption of these technologies requires proper organizational change management, as their implementation can encounter resistance from employees and managers. The study broadly finds that organizations that successfully integrate these technologies into their operations gain a substantial competitive advantage in a dynamic global business environment. This study contributes to the understanding of the crucial role technology plays in modernizing and improving organizational effectiveness, providing a theoretical and practical foundation for future research and applications in the field of business management.
