This study analyses the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among distribution staff at Marcimex, a company dedicated to delivering household appliances. Through the application of the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire and direct observation, a high prevalence of discomfort in the lower back, shoulders, and wrists was identified, associated with the manual handling of heavy loads and forced postures. A direct relationship was found between the presence of MSDs and decreased work performance, reflected in increased absenteeism and reduced productivity. The General Objective of this research is to determine the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders on the work performance of household appliance distribution staff at “Marcimex.” In response, a comprehensive ergonomic strategy is proposed, aimed at improving the physical conditions of the work environment, incorporating active breaks, and strengthening the technical training of staff. These actions seek to prevent new injuries, promote physical well-being, and increase operational efficiency within the company.
