ANTI-PLAGIARISM POLICY

Sapiens EduTech International Journal (SETIJ), in its 2023 annual edition, ensures that all published academic articles are original, unpublished, and have not been previously disseminated in any format, whether in whole or in part. Furthermore, it guarantees that submitted manuscripts are not under consideration for publication in other journals or any other form of publication simultaneously.

To enforce this policy, SETIJ utilizes specialized similarity detection tools such as Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate), Turnitin, and Plag.es. Additionally, other tools like DupliChecker, Plagium, or Copyscape may be used, at the editorial discretion.

The similarity check will be conducted prior to the initiation of the peer review process. In cases where the similarity report exceeds 20%, the editorial committee will notify the authors via email, providing the detailed report and an expert reflection. This procedure allows authors to offer any necessary comments or clarifications, facilitating a fair evaluation by the editorial team to determine whether the issue relates to plagiarism. In the event that plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be automatically rejected.

Additionally, editors may suggest the use of online platforms that are freely accessible for authors to verify the originality of their work before submitting it to SETIJ's editorial system.
